For our Employee Spotlight this month we are featuring Dan Yacobucci in the Monitoring Response Center. Dan is a Dispatcher and has been with Amherst Alarm for 2 Years!

1. What does your job entail?
Answering incoming calls, receiving incoming alarms/trouble and dispatching if necessary.

2. What has been your proudest moment working at Amherst Alarm?
I have dispatched medical assistance for an elderly lady who had fallen and couldn’t get up.

3. What is your favorite meal?
Cajun Shrimp Gumbo. I make it myself. My wife hates seafood, so I make just enough for me.

4. Who is your favorite band or singer?
Chet Baker. He is a jazz pianist.

5. What do you like to do for fun?
My wife and I just had our first child. At this point, it is making sure he is not screaming.

6. What is your dream vacation?
To go to the Dubai F1 Race
