For our Employee Spotlight this month, we are featuring Brian Willms in the Operations Department! Brian is an Accounting Assistant here at Amherst Alarm.

1. What does your job entail?
My primary focus is to assist the Accounting Supervisor, Angela, with day to day accounting work. My job normally entails processing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions, meaning mostly all money in & out passes through me at some point. I also perform invoice entry and assist with balance sheet preparation.

2. What has been your proudest moment working at Amherst Alarm?
My proudest moment was when I caught a bank loan processing error on the bank reconciliation which would have cost the company about $20,000.

3. What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie would have to be Deadpool.

4. What is your favorite food/meal?
My favorite food would have to be a venison cheeseburger.

5. What do you like to do for fun?
I like to play grand strategy video games and work on my hobbies which are hunting and wood carving.

6. What is your dream vacation?
Going on a Moose hunt in Alaska with my Dad, Uncle Kevin and my two brothers.
