For our Spotlight this month we are featuring Dave Charvat in the Sales Department! Dave is our Commercial Sales Manager here at Amherst Alarm. Thank you for all of your hard work, Dave!

1. What does your job entail?
Being in Commercial Sales I’m responsible for servicing my existing commercial customers and prospecting for new customers. I consult with my customers and prospects to provide security and life safety solutions, system design, sales, and project management during the installation process. I also keep my customers aware of the changes and educate them on how they can benefit from them.

2. What has been your proudest moment working at Amherst Alarm?
So far, being here and working with so many wonderful people. Also, I am proud of our installation and service departments, what they do for our customers, and how well that reflects on me.

3. Give three words that describe you?
Motivated, Friendly, Committed.

4. Who is your favorite band or singer?
U2, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty.

5. What do you like to do for fun?
I like to read, tinker around the house, garden and also spend time with friends and family.

6. Where was your favorite vacation?
My annual trip to Cape Cod!
