For our Employee Spotlight this month we are featuring Mark in the Sales Department! Mark is a Commercial Sales Manager.

1.What does your job entail?
I’m responsible for servicing my existing commercial customers and prospecting for new business in the areas of commercial security, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control. I consult with my customers and prospects to provide security and life safety solutions, system design, sales, and project management during the installation process. I also keep my customers aware of the changes in security and fire alarm technology and educate them on how they can benefit from them.

2.What is your proudest moment at Amherst Alarm?
There are lots! Every time a customer thanks me when one my jobs deters a break-in, helps to solve a crime, detects a fire in the early stages, and generally just makes their lives easier.

3.What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to cook – whether it’s in the kitchen, on the grill, or smoker. I also love music and playing guitar.

4.What is your favorite restaurant?
The Griffon Gastropub – great taps and burgers!

5.What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving

6.What is your favorite Joke?
I don’t have any one favorite joke, but I love puns and dry humor. The dryer, the better!
