For our Employee Spotlight this month, we are featuring Joe Pawlak in the Customer Service Department! Joe is the Customer Service Manager here at Amherst Alarm.
1. What does your job entail?
I am the Customer Service Manager which means I work with all departments within Amherst Alarm. My main focus is Job Processing; seeing jobs through from start to finish. Also, making sure our customers are delighted to be with a company that cares!
2. What has been your proudest moment working at Amherst Alarm?
Being with the company for over 25 years, I have many proud moments. I started from the ranks of a part-time dispatcher to the Senior Dispatcher. Worked as a Service Coordinator before becoming the Customer Service Manager. Each having a moment from foiling a robbery-in-progress to knowing the satisfaction of resolving a customer’s issue.
3. Give three words that describe you?
Compassionate, Understanding and Fun!
4. What is your favorite type of music?
I enjoy most types of music depending on how the day is going. I really enjoy listening to Avicii while driving home to unwind from a good day of work!
5. What do you like to do for fun?
I like to stay as busy as possible but when opportunities arise I enjoy being out on my jet ski, going to a variety of sporting events and catching up with friends. Being by the water is the best way to relax.
6. Where was your favorite vacation?
I have a few: scuba diving while in Mexico, Disney in Florida and my annual Cedar Point trips!
