For our Employee Spotlight this month, we are featuring our IT Support Technician, Tim Gryckiewicz! Tim has been with Amherst Alarm for over 4 years.

1. What does your job entail?
Provide IT Support for Amherst Alarm staff and customers. I help provide and organize training for the Service Department and I also assist the Service Department when needed.

2. What has been your proudest moment working at Amherst Alarm?
Seeing the “lightbulb” click on in whoever I am training, followed by watching them apply the knowledge and demonstrate their understanding of the concept.

3. Three words to describe you…
Thorough, patient, empathic.

4. Hobbies/interests outside of work?
All kinds of photography but mostly wildlife photography. I also enjoy birdwatching.

5. Favorite movie or TV show?
The Planet Earth TV series.

6. Dream vacation?
Madagascar or an Australian birdwatching trip.
