A Unique Video Security Solution 

Recently, Amherst Alarm completed a unique video security project at a local topsoil and mulch company, CJ Krantz Organics. Their business required video monitoring of more than 5 acres of land, which includes large mounds of mulch. With the right kind of temperature and mixture of materials, mulch can combust, so being able to monitor the property 24/7 was a must.

Sales Manager Dave Britton designed a system that would allow CJ Krantz employees to monitor the entire property using a smartphone, tablet, or on a monitor inside the main office at any time of the day or night in HD video.  Tom Miller, Amherst Alarm’s Commercial Project Manager, implemented the project by selecting the correct crew and using quick thinking to get the job done. They used an existing structure near CJ Krantz’s main office to mount the cameras on so it would be easy to see over the mulch mounds to the back of the property.
