“On Tuesday, July 30th, 2009 I had received news that our home along with a few others in our immediate neighborhood were on a list named to potentially be robbed. I immediately went into panic mode seeing as though we have a 5-year-old daughter. My first and only thought was to protect our daughter.
I had gone on the internet and checked out all the alarm companies I could get a hold of. Immediately the next morning I had already started receiving phone calls to the point I could not even keep up with them. I want to share with you a little information. I had gotten 5 different calls from 5 different agents, receiving 5 different quotes. ALL from ADT. I had checked into several local alarm companies as well. So by the time early afternoon rolled around I was to the point of tears. I was so very frustrated because I just felt like no one really had my family’s safety in interest. I just felt like a dollar sign hanging in front of them. Then I had remembered somehow that a friend of mine, Pam Ribbeck had said that her son Wesley Ribbeck had worked for Amherst Alarm. So I figured what the hell, I’ll call. I was certain that I was going to get just another jerk at the end of the line. Well, I was put on the phone with Tony Zarbo and instantly I felt a little more at ease. He must have been able to sense the frustration in my voice, because he spoke with a tone that he actually wanted to help. I explained my situation, telling him we were on a hit list to be robbed that Friday night. I also had received SO many prices varying from $ 629.00 – $ 4000.00, that I wanted some kind of pricing over the phone. I understand this is very difficult to do, but he DID it! I also needed it installed right away and he MADE it happen. Tony went over and beyond what he needed to do.
The VERY next morning at 8:00 A.M., I had 2 techs at my door. They were Jason and Greg. They introduced themselves and even took off their shoes. WOW! I realize now that my home was considered a challenge, because of time restrictions and such. But they came in and tackled the job head-on and were the MOST POLITE techs. They made sure ANY questions I had big or small were answered. They broke for lunch. Then, the cavalry (Lol) moved in after lunch. Another van with John & Eric pulled up along with Wes himself. John, Eric, and Wes also were extremely polite. I was asked several times if I had any questions. I hope I stayed out of their way because I tried. Wes had come to me and even got my opinion on what I wanted him to do out in the garage. It was cosmetic questions he had about his wiring. I have to say, he used color matching wire on our garage and did such a neat job running the wires that you cannot see them. We have even asked people to come in and try to find it and they have to really look hard. VERY NEAT WORK! Everyone was very careful and cleaned up after themselves also. AMAZING! I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.”
